Has anyone taken the NY Cruise to Bermuda? *NM*
i haven't taken this cruise but i plan on taking it this summer (just a vacation-not for a honeymoon)....my friend who took this cruise loved it....it is more of a relaxing cruise...i went on a cruise where every morning you'd wake up and be at another island---not too much relaxation on that type of cruise but an incredible time!!!....the ny to bermuda cruise i plan on taking leaves late afternoon from ny which is great b/c the first day of the cruise will be at see and by the time you get on the ship-go to your room---eat--check the ship out and party at night-go to sleep and when you wake up you will be there--i can't wait to go!!:)

I took that cruise
I went on Celebrity, the Zenith, to Bermuda last July for a family reunion. My parents and Aunt and Uncle were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and both had gone to Bermuda for their honeymoons. I loved the cruise and I loved Bermuda. I wish I could get married there! It is a gorgeous island, very clean and beautiful beaches. You can rent mopeds and ride all over the island- very fun. I could go on and on about it. Email me if you want more specific info [email protected]

Havent taken it yet, but booked it for our honeymoon in Sept. RC from NY to Bermuda on Nordic Empress for 7 nts. We're staying @ the Waldorf the night of our wedding then hopping on the ship the next day! We are excited that there isnt any traveling involved. We need to relax! IT was a good price - about $3500 total for a balcony oceanview stateroom. This includes food but no alcohol...

I went last summer-Celebrity Horizon
I went last year. Bermuda is beautiful. I loved Horseshoe Bay...had so much fun exploring the beach there. The ship is nice and the food is great! It was so cool to leave from NYC. I would totally recommend it. I was my first cruise and from what I heard it is more relaxing/quiet than the Caribbean cruises. The crowd on my ship tended to be older (50+) so if you expect nightlife/party scene..there wasn't much. If you want more info I can email some to you..post your email address. I recently sent a whole review to another bride on this board.

I went last summer-Celebrity Horizon
Like bridetobe said, the Celebrity tends to an older crowd. We went on the horizon in September, and seriously, you couldn't use the elevators before 9pm because there were so many senior citizens. It's great if you want a quiet & relaxing trip. If you are looking for more lively time- I'd go on the nordic. Good luck!

Thanks! and another question
Thank you everyone who posted about their experiences. It seems everyone took a cruise there. Is this the way most people go? Did anyone fly down there and stay in a resort? This is more what I was leaning toward since I get very seasick and don't want to spend any of my honeymoon sick or sleepy from Dramamine!Welcome New Vendors
