I went there when I was looking. It wasn't my type of place. I prefer the country club look over granite and mirrors. On the plus side, the price was very reasonable for a Saturday night and there seemed to be an incredible amount of food --with an accent on Italian. Good Luck on your search

I have never been there but live near there and have friends who have they said it was not so great compared to the big wedding places, they are cheaper but u have to be careful that the service will reflect that

It's half a mile from my house, it is real big on mirrors and has changed hands alot. It used to be called Theresas in the 80's and 90's then that closed and it was Elegente Grand Caterers and Resturant then after a year it became just the catering hall. I don't know anyone who booked there ever and I am real close, also they have some annoying lady who keeps calling my house I have no clue how she even got my name and number:( But anyways, it's not picture pretty, it's has a short side walk off of broadway in north massapequa (near the border of farmindale and Plainedge)Which is like a main street but not cute or really shopable (if you know what I mean) and then about 12 feet back or so is the hall, it is a dark color and real big on the whole mirror look. They do have the ability to do some cool staircase shots but that is about it, not much for outdoors or parking... It is real close to the Manor East and reminds me somewhat of the manor east (mirror wise) and it is also close to the Stuart Thomas Manor (which I disliked alot, I dislike halls that rip into other halls and that also haven't been around too long and never have cars in there lots on the weekend (Stuart thomas has a showcase on 3/7 I believe.. I am going b/c I am so close and who knows.. maybe there will be free stuff raffles!! hehe) Well Good luck! Laurie Ps. I'm baised to the Imperial Manor though:)

Elegante Grand

Went to a wedding there a couple of years ago. I thought it was a very cold environment. There was no warmth there. It had a high polish black floor in the ballroom and lots of mirrors. It seemed really glossy. The Cocktail hour seemed like a cafeteria to me. The bridal suite did have a balcony overlooking the cocktail hour, which I thought was neat. The food was so-so. Overall, not my style, but to each his own.
