anyone been to Foxwoods recently?

Mohegan Sun is being difficult with accommodating me and my future bachelor/bachelorette party...not budging a CENT on room rates!

so i checked out Foxwoods....the same room is half the price, the pics look gorge, so im not too worried about quality, and it seems like they have some fun places!!

one called Scorpion Bar, its a Tequila Bar n Mexican restaurant im thinking we could do dinner at...they have live bands n stuff

then they have this HUGE club called Shrine thats supposedly sick! and like 3 other bars...not to mention the gambling n all...

but ive never been there......

any feedback?

i went there recently, i like foxwoods a lot better than mohegan... shrine is a japanese restaurant in the MGM resort and it turns into a club at night, we ate there for dinner though then we went over to the scorpian bar, so i cant tell you how it was club wise.. whats nice is that all the casinos are connected so you can walk from one area to another, ..you will have a fun time, enjoy!

so good to hear!!!! my parents went a LONG time ago, then started at Mohegan sun n never went back, so they're no help LOL

how was scorpion bar?? was it fun? do u think that would be a good place to start off a bachelorette party?? (provided we all like mexican food, of course)

or do u think dinner at Shrine would be better?

(i love mexican and asian food...im looking for the better experience dinner wise, cuz i feel like shrine is more upscale, but scorpion would be lotsa fun w/the tequila bar n stuff too!)

shrine is more like, loungey, we ate on benches it was a different experience. again i don't know how it is as a club b/c we left.. but yeah to me it seemed more upscale. but when i went to the scorpian bar there was actually a bachelorette party taking place! the bride and her girls all had a big table and they looked like they were having fun, so yeah i think that would be a good place to start off! have fun!
