I need fun things to do to convince FH thats where we should go on our honeymoon!! Any advice!?

I did very touristy things. We took that tour bus and saw Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parlimant. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe, and there are some parks like Trafalgar Square. There is a Theater District just like here you can see shows, and don't forget the PUBS!!!
PS :And we ate TONS of fish and chips.

Any of the tourist things really interesting to a guy who has no desire to go to europe lol I was thinking of taking him to that jack the ripper walking tour or some crazy stuff like that

Oh yeah, I heard there was a torture museum like torture devices from the middle ages, we didn't see that but that would definately be more interesting! Honestly London is very much like Manhattan, not sure if I would choose it for a honeymoon but if you have your heart set than go for it!

There's the Tower of London, which I didn't go to, but I heard it's a big hit with the guys--torture and spookiness and all that.
Now, if you wanted the scoop on Stockholm, I could def. help you out there! But London is a fun place, I just don't know it as well as other cities.
Oh, you could check out Time Out London though.

I want to go to Europe cuz its diff. We live in FL and i work at Disney so we can get o a cruise ship and go to the carribbiean anytime we want....i want to be away from the heat n palm trees

My FH and I actually took a 9 days trip around Europe last year. We did Amsterdam for 3 nights and 3 nights in Prague and 2 days in London. I thought that was prefect.
It's really romantic in Prague, and don't forget cheap food and wine. 1$ a glass of really nice red wine. As for Amsterdam, if you are into their coffee shop, there are plenty of them there. Plus the Van Gogh museum is there and that was awesome.
I find London to be super expensive. My good friend was actually studying there and he was able to give us a walking tour around London within 3 hrs. Other then that the PUBs and fish and chips was so yummy.
Were actually heading to Greece this sep, so maybe i can tell you more when i get back.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Sweden then...I am slightly biased because I lived there for over a year, but it's terrific, and about as different from Florida as I can imagine!

Ive just always wanted to go to London, we were thinking of doing 4-7 days in london and then 2 days in paris to go to the lourve (sp) and see a few things too

London is amazing if you like theatre. I saw 5 shows in 8 days, for very cheap and great seats! Even if London proper isn't convincing, there's tons to do outside of London that's only a busride away. You could visit the Castle in Leeds, go to the White Cliffs of Dover, visit Stonehenge, see Cantebury Cathedral, go to the prime meridian running through Greenwich. Lots to do!

I lived in London! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it there... So many great things to do... The Tower of London... Lond on Dungeon... Buckingham Palace... lots of touristy things.
I would suggest going to London and maybe Italy... its really cheap to travel to different cities once youre across the pond =)))

There's lots to do in London. although it can be a bit expensive, but there's a lot of touristy things you can do for free. the castles are very interesting, windsor palace, Hampton court in the outskirt of London, and plenty more. Tower of London he will definitely be interested in, although the jewlz might make feel bad a little bit.

FH went to Italy 3 yrs ago...if you are gonna go and take the train learn the train and what it means!! lol....we got yelled at so bad b/c we missed our train and took a later one...THANK GOD an american student was listening to the guy yell and said something to the guy and we werent charged for another train ticket! other than that...it was beautiful...didnt want to come home!

But London is nice...I just prefered Amsterdam and other places in Europe than London...its a great stop on the way to somewhere else...

i was there MANY years ago like 12. I loved it very much. We did london then took a train ride through the country side to york. I wanted to live there because that place RULED!!!

i went to london and i loved it! definitely do all the tourist things: tower of london, buckingham palace, etc.... we also took a day trip up to the town of Bath where they have some ancient roman baths. it was so pretty up there - definitely worth the ride!!! oh and it's near stone henge so definitely check t hat out - it's breathtaking!!

I heard briefly today on News12, (I think) that a new company is flying out of JFK for $199- one way flights to London.
