FH and I are going there for a week in June - we're subletting an apartment a professor I work with owns - and we know nothing about the area. Any suggestions? It's within walking distance of Monaco, so any Monaco advice or tips would be appreciate too!
And only 15 miles fom Italy! I am sooo psyched!

I have been... it is quite beautiful. You can do day trips via the train to Cannes and Nice. Both are quite nice. Just beware the beach is quite rocky so make sure to bring something to wear on your feet if you plan to swim! Monaco is beautiful but very expensive. Plus some of the casinos as I remember are black tie....

I have...many years ago. We stayed in Nice and Monte Carlo...GORGEOUS! Yes, the beaches are rocky, was strange to see that! I remember going to a castle in Nice...geez, it was so long ago! Edited to add we drove over the border into San Remo, Italy to shop
