Anyone bewn on a cruise to Alaska? If so I need info!
Thinking of going on a cruise in 2006, I know it is early, we are in the talking stages of it.... with a bunch of people- want to know anything you can tell me about it, and also what ship etc. THANKS in advance!

My parents are there right now! :) FM me in another week, and I can give you more info. We were supposed to go too, but then we moved our wedding up by a year. I haven't seen my parents since the wedding, cause we were on our hm, and they left for Alaska. Anyway, I'm babbling. I'll have more info in a week :)

a coworker went and her husband went...don't think it was a cruise though....I think they did a train thing. The pictures were breathtaking!!

I WENT! It was years ago but it was the most amazing trip of my life. I took Princess Cruise Lines and we left out of Vancouver and stoped in Sitka, Ketchakan and Juneau. And we passed through Glacier Island or something like that. The travel was a b*tch but it was sooooo unbelievable.
I found back then there were a lot of older people but now I think that has changed. It was pretty expensive too because you are taking a cruise and doing all that flying but I would not pass it up...DO IT. I am going to get my FH to go in a year or two.....
Oh and I went in June and it was in the 70's. I wore shorts the whole time so it is not as cold as they claim it to be. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask me.

my aunt went two year ago on holland america..she went in march...weather was gray all week, but not reainy or too cold...they flew to vancouver and toured land and sea...she got me some orca whale souveniers...

OH yeah, I spoke to my mom, and it's very warm there. It was like 88 on Monday!

My friends just got back from one... they loved it. He even surprised her and arranged for them to renew their vows on the ship. They took the Celebrity Cruise line, I forget the name of the ship. The tour left from Vancouver. They did a bunch of shore excursions and loved them all.
I've been on a Celebrity Cruise before (not to Alaska) and they really do cater to your every whim.
