Anyone book a cigar roller?

I posted on 07 and BHB thinking maybe someone knew, but lemme ask my 08ers, did the hall ask for insurance from the cigar roller in order to set up??

If the hall needs to go through all that for a roller, Im not doing it. My plan is to buy like 2 or 3 cases of cigars and display them nicely on a decorated table at VH

I plan on having a cigar roller at my wedding but I haven't gotten as far as booking one or asking the hall about insurance. I didn't even know you needed insurance for that.

I was told they need insurance... which I think is ridiculous... I mean, what are they setting up really?? Nothing electrical... I mean, hiring a cigar roller is like hiring a napkin folder, what harm could it cause? I just want to see if it's my RH that requires it.

Yes please do.... I'm trying to figure out if my RH only wants me to use their 'recommended' vendor for profit purposes. A cigar roller I contacted told me he never had to provide insurance before. Thanks in advance!

I booked Little cigar factory, and my RH didn't ask for the insurance b/c I'm sure they have it on file.

i wanted to do it but Im not going to. I believe my hall needs insurance from any outside vendor. im sure they are all like that too.

yea I'm not doing a roller but I'm probably gonna display them at the VH....what kind of insurance would a tobacco roller need? In case they cut themselves? Idk- ask them who they wanted to have come in....I would recommend the little cigar factory. They deal with alot of halls
