I was just wondering if you used a TA or did it yourself?
I am trying to come up with enought miles for our plane tickets. Plus I am keeping my eye on this site called luxury link where they have hotel deals for Moorea. But I'm a little nervous about doing this myself. Any advise?
we booked thru a travel agent - we're staying at the Sofitel in Moorea and the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. Can't wait!!

I always book my own travel but for my HM, I decided to go with a travel agent. Just easier in this instance. Check out Islands in the Sun. They had some good deals. Also try Tripology.com.

We went with a travel agent. I went to Moorea and Bora Bora (did not stay in Tahiti). I priced out a few, and the one a friend used two years prior got us the best deals by far. FM if you want her contact info. She is great, and got us excellent reservations while there, etc. She lives in Moorea (but is American - married a man there and stayed), and knows all the best things to do.

we usually book our own vacations, but went with a travel agent for the honeymoon because of the destination (lot of interisland flights) and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
we are staying at the intercontinental moorea, the pearl beach in bora bora and the intercontinental in bora bora.
the only thing we have to book on our own is the flights from here to LAX. the fares are still high so we are waiting for them to drop (hopefully) and then using our miles to help pay for it.

which intercontinental in bora bora? we went to both
i agree re: interisland flights -there are a lot of transfers and it'd be tricky to figure out on your own
