I was wondering if anyone else is booked at Villa Lombardi`s or ever been to a wedding there. If you are booked, what is the per plate price? Please let me know..:) Thanks

I am having my wedding there Saturday, June 1, 2002. I booked the hall over a year ago and the price is about $110, plus 17% gratuity. I couldn't afford to do the entire raw seafod bar so I added raw shrimp, which is included in my price. I had to guarantee a high number though, about 200 people. Hope this helps. Thanks Jackie... I just wanted to make sure we were not paying too much. Our Wedding is April 12, 2002 (which is a Friday night) for $79.95 per plate + $5.00 extra hour fee + gratuity and tax. He added 5 dinner choices and wine service (which I think is standard) after our 4th visit with him. We kept going back to look at dates, but just recently booked. Have you attended a wedding there? Villa Lombardi's

My wedding is at Villa on August 26 of this year. I've been to one wedding there and a food tasting and it the place/food is impeccable!!! If you have any questions let me know.

Your welcome. I have not personally attended a wedding there but I know many friends who have and had nothing but great reviews. There was a guy on the board, Tim, who was married there recently and he said everything was excellent. Its nice to know someone else who is getting married there. If I can be of any help, just let me know.

Villa`s Vendor list....

Have you book any vendors yet? I am trying to use the vendors from Villa`s list (because of the 1/2 off per plate.) So far I like Patken Photography, Photos of the Heart, and Flowers by Brian. The only vendor we have booked is our band / The Mystic. They played at my future sister-in-laws wedding in February and they were GREAT! Their price is $4300.00 which is pretty reasonable for Long Island. It included the female singer, and the brass section.(Full House wanted over $5,000.00 without the brass section.) Thanks for all your help and keep me updated on your vendors and I will do the same.

We had our reception there in January. You won`t be dissapointed. They were really great about everything. It's a little out of the way unless you're comming from the east, but believe me, it's definitely worth the trip. I may be a little biased, but it was defintely the best reception I've been to.

Villa`s Vendor list....

I tried to book vendors from Villa's list but so far I have not. I booked my band through LI Paramount, Arcadia. The photgrapher and videographer I booked was with Imagine Studios. I still need flowers and limo but since I don't have my dresses yet, I'll wait to do the flowers. How was Flowers by Brian. My friend used them for her wedding and the flowers were amazing but they were expensive. Any info would be great.

How is married life? Did you feed your vendors? I was wondering, will they count the vendors at part of our minimum if we do not reach it. Thanks for the info.

Bride to be, I am getting married there Aug. 17, 2001, which is also a Friday night. We are also paying 79.00 per person, and only had to gurantee 120 people. However, we went way over.LOL Hope this helps

Tim - question about Villa

Still getting used to married life. So far, it`s been pretty good. They will count the vendors toward your minimum if you don`t reach it. Once you do, they will discount the non-house vendors by 25%. We didn`t use any of the house vendors. I think they discount them even more. They also discount children at 50%.

I didn`t use the house vendors not because there was a problem with them, but I liked other vendors better. As far as I was concerned, I had no reason to hire the house vendors. I wasn`t getting anything for my money, so the small savings in feeding them would have been offset by not getting a bargain on them. Also, when I ran a BBB check on Alladins limos, it came back negative. As far as I know, that is the only house vendor that had a negative report at that time. I don`t know what their status is currently.
