DH was at Penn last night around 7:15, and he said it really wasn't that bad. Crowded, but nothing like what they were showing on the news. If you can either get to work early and leave early, or get in late and leave late, it seems to be better.
Today I am lucky enough to be able to work from home, though I don't think I can do this tomorrow. So I'll be out there with everyone else.

Yesterday DH carpooled and left at about 5:15 AM and had no problem; today he took the LIRR and then was going to use the Path train and do a loopty-loo to try and get to Wall Street...he works at NYSE so the walk would be long, far, and cold as hell! :( Hope he made it okay.

yes, I took the 2:52 train home yesterday, and that was fine, about 15 min late. I was not going to stick around to see what Penn sta was going to be like at 5. Sooo glad I made that call! I will be doing the same today.

i am doing that. the morning commute is actually a breeze (10-15 minute delay) but last night's mob scene was scary.
