I was so disappointed today. it just didn't look the same. I was worried this would happen because the sample was too small when I tried it on (couldn't zip it over my ribs) so it made me look really slender because it forced everything in. I was so excited about looking so thin in it that I ordered it. Today it came in 2 sizes bigger than the sample and its too big for me. I know it still has to be taken in but I am afraid that I still won't get it to look the way the sample did. I have like no curve in my stomach and I hate it so I really don't want to look wide.

I was disappointed at first I thought my ivory dress was a pee yellow. so i came back and tried it on again and it was perfect.
The dress is big, when its altered I'm sure you will fall in love with it again. If you're worried about bulges, you still have a lot of time to slim down and girdles are the best! is there a way they can make your dress into a corset? that would give you curves
I would try your dress on again.

Don't worry, everything will be fine after you get fitted. I was disappointed too when my dress came in because it was sooo big and too short. After the first fitting, things were much better. By the time my third fitting came around I was in love with it all over again.

Its not even bulges... I mean I definitely want to lose like 5-10 pounds before the wedding but I don't think I can change this aspect of my stomach. Its just my body shape. I have a flat stomach (well... almost haha) but my stomach is wide. I know that sounds weird... its hard to explain. Anyway, I hate the way that makes me look in a lot of clothes... so when this dress mad me actually look thin there, I was soooooo excited. I know you are right... it will be fine when it is altered... I just needed some reassurance.

maybe you can wear some kind of corset underneath it to give you that shape you want? or spanx? and its true once its fitted it will look A LOT different - my dress was huge on me and once i saw how it looked with the pins it was so much better

Don't worry, I felt the same exact way. As soon as I had a couple of fittings and the dress fit me the way it is supposed to I fell in love with it again!!

Honestly if i can go back before my dress came in I would of purchased a corset, my mom talked me out of it. Would of taken away my pouch. No one noticed it as much as I did but if i put it on after I had my dress taken in my dresse would of slipped down on me.
SO try it a corset out - just make sure it is white or ivory.

my dress was huge on me, my measured length came in 2' short and it looked yellow in the bad lighting. i was really upset at my first fitting, but everything was fixed with alterations and even my second fitting was a huge difference
