What charity are you going to make the donation to?
Are you going to give your guests anything in addition to the donation? Like a CD or something?
We had a couple ideas for charities, but aren't sure if that's what we want to do or not ....

Im not but fsil donated it to the cancer society! and then she put hershey kisses in tulle!

I am donating to the American Heart Association. I don't think we are doing anything in addition. My cousin did a donation and instead of a scroll or card about the donation, she had bookmarks made.

We are donating to 2 charities in memory of my Father and FFIL, to the American Cancer Society and American Heart Assoc.
We are making up scrolls and also giving each guest an organza bag with Lindt Truffles in it.

FH and I are donating to Cancer Care for Kids at Winthrop Hospital..they helped my family immensely when my little cousin was dealing with cancer. We're also going to give Lucky 7's scratch-offs, since we're getting married on 7/7/07.

We are thinking of either donating to the American Heart Assoc & The American Cancer Society. I am also going to be giving out candied almonds (an italian favor)

We are donating the USO (FH was a Marine) and the American Cancer Sociey in memory of my two grandparents. I think are just having cards made up for it.

we are donating to leukemia and lymphoma and american cancer society in memory of FH's father and my grandfather. i think i'm going to make up cards and i want to try and make candy apples to give out also. everyone has great ideas though. i love the bookmark idea as well.

We made a donation to breast cancer and received pink bracelets that we are going to give to our guests. We are also giving these ice cream scoops:
We are doing a donation to the Christopher Reeve Foundation, in honor of my brother in law. He was injured at work two years ago and is now a Quad. We just made up scrolls explaining about the organization.

I think we are going to give out bracelets for the Lance Armstrong Foundations for cancer in memory of my dad and then also do a candy buffet

We are doing a doncation to Pets Alive...it's an amazing no kill animal shelter in upstate NY, and it's completely privately funded. The NYC carriage horses go there, they get their horse shoes off and they live out the rest of their lives in peace...They also have any other kinds of animals you can imagine, cats, dogs, pigs, goats, chickens, etc...It's a great organization and we feel they can really use the money.

we did. we did one to mercy hospital in memory of my dad's mom and my mom's parents. we also did one to LIJ for dh's grandmother.
eta: we did not give out anything to our guests. i don't think anyone even noticed.
