Anyone doing a 'second dance'?

I see this on the form I am filling out for my band..

I have a couple of other songs I would do- just wondering if people did this.

Yes we are, although not positive as to what we will dance to, maybe the song we danced to at our e-party (Flying Without Wings)

Yes!! We are so we can dance alone for the first song. I really do not know what our second song will be!!!

We're going to invite all the other couples up for this song and have the DJ say something like 'For every couple who gets up to dance, the bride and groom will have another year of happiness.' For our song, we're dancing to 'Everything About You' by Steve Poltz - a San Diego musician who we've seen play many times, and who's main claim to fame is helping skyrocket Jewel to fame. He co-wrote the lyrics to 'You Were Meant for Me' with her and appears in her video. Anyway, this song was also on the 'Notting Hill' soundtrack.

we did - but we didn't plan to....we couldn't decide on a first dance song, and after we told the band both songs, they played one for just us to dance to, and then invited everyone else up to dance with us....without our even asking them to....i loved our band

Yup. We're big Adam Sandler fans, and so our first (30 second) dance is 'I Wanna Grow Old With You' from the Wedding Singer- just to get us started, we thought it would be cute. Then, we'll just keep dancing for our second dance, which is our official wedding song. Everyone will be invited up for the wedding song.

i think we are, our first will be 'someone like you' which will start out just us and then the BP will join us and then a second song will come on for everyone. 2nd song will probably be 'just you and I''
