anyone doing darker makeup?

Oh my gosh, that pic is fantastic! I love the look of darker make-up. Unfortunately, I am blonde and light skinned so I can't get away with it so much!

I reccomend my artist..she doesn't just specialize in 'Bridal' so I believe she will give you the look you are going for she is truly talented and I can rave enough about her..

My wedding is a bit odd and i love it so I want to create the look that goes best.

since my girls will be wearing a black veil just across their eyes, throat and wrist corsets I need the smoked look..

Yup - I went with gold, brown, and black for my makeup.

WOW!!! I am so happy to actually see people on here who also want a darker look! I posted pics of make up trials and most of my responses were 'that is too dark and not bridal enough' My whole feeling is, who is to say what is bridal enough for a person except the bride? I love that look you are going for, especially if you have brown hair, lining your eyes with dark liner makes your eyes really pop! I have had a miserable time finding a make up artist who can actually pull it off, as some of our fellow brides did point out that even with the eye make up being close in my last trial, the lipstick is too bright. And I know that Alot of brides here are 'Oksana is make up Goddess' but not even she with all her infinite make up pro-ness could give me the look I wanted with out being all judgmental. Well... we just have to keep on looking, because to be quite truthful, it is our weddings, our faces and our decision! Best of luck to you, and if I find a make up artist who can cut it, i will certainly pass her info on to you and anyone else who wants a similar look

i am going darker with my make-upalso and i want really smokie eyes in greys colors. my friend gotten her done at MAc in macys. i am going to go there for a trial too. so i would suggest maybe trying MAC out

I spoke to oksana today and she was absolutely killer!!! She has the kind of energy, ideas and a good attitude that I am looking for.
