MarcellaBella you are my hero! Thanks for finding those pictures for me. I still remember gasping when she first appears at the top of the stairs in the movie theater. Sooo beautiful... Sorry if this was a tangent! hehe

Yes I am!! It's a Venetian Masquerade/Victorian-renaissance fairytale theme lol it's has a little of everything..

That is sooo beautiful. I havent seen/heard anyone doing a theme wedding in a long time. Are you having your guest arrive in a themed costume or is it just for the bridal party?

No, not the guests, but I will be having all sorts of little surprises throughout the night.. the only thing that I'm doing with the guests is I am having elaborate feather masks on a stick (for the ladies) and regular masks on a stick (for the men) .. the room where the cocktail hour is has a long row of doors.. so right before they go into the reception, they will be asked to take one.. it will also serve as the favor..

My gown is HUGE.. very fairytale/couture/gone with the wind-like.. FH and the ushers are wearing tails..

the flowergirls, wings..

the bridesmaids dresses are a little dif and fit into the theme as well..

MY MOH totally wants to do this for her wedding. She loved Drew Barrymore inthat movie so much she actually sewed a replica of that dress BY HAND (before she had her own sewing machine!!).

I think the wings on the flowergirls is really cute. But if you are getting married in a church, you probably should clear it with them first since the subject of angels is a religious one.

I actually did clear it with the church.. they were actually pretty cool with it..

The dress is gorgeous! How long did it take her to sew the dress?

There were so many layers and stitching - it took FOREVER!! But it looked really amazing. Unfortunetely I only have this crappy photo of it which make it look shiny (it was not) and makes her look much bigger than she is but here it is:

OMG.. that's beautiful.. you could totally see the detail.. wow.. I'm impressed.. sometimes you see people attempt to make anything and it never looks even half as good as this dress does..

My MOH is a magician when she puts her mind to it. I would never have the discpline to spend many nights doing this dress (which looked sooo much better in person) or sewing the tablecloths to my shower (yes she did that!) or half the stuff she does.
