I was thinking of making fake floral centerpieces myself-buying the materials at Michaels or AC moores....
any thoughts?
I know it's something I would want to take home because they are fake and will last a heck of a lot longer...also are less expensive I think.

they're not necessarily cheaper!!!
Just make sure they match the color scheme
My cousin had fake centerpieces and they ddn't clash, but they totally didn't match and they just looked REALLY fake, and so it wasn't as nice as real flowers, but who cares...flowers die anyway

As long as you don't mind making them.. go for it! Michaels has great silk flowers, and when they have a sale they are so cheap! My FMIL wants me to do silk CP's.. I just don't think I could recreate 25 table pieces!!! I'm good, but I'm not that good yet!

thanks girls...I was worried I wouldn't be able to re-create each one also....well, still have time. I like candles too, but I'm afraid they'll melt too soon. I need candles that will last at least 4 hrs.
