WOW i dont know why i just entered it but I did and I got accepted in Regis and Kelly's High-Heel-A-Thon in central park... the grand prize is 25000 dollars...figured it couldnt hurt..

its is a 150 foot dash (or 150 yard dash) in cenral park in high heels...grand prize is 25000 dollars!!! it is july 9th and you need to be there by 6am to register in person.

I just saw that on Regis and Kelly today. I'm a pretty good runner...I just dont know how I'd do in heels. do you plan on 'practicing' running in heels?

lol yes i am totally practicing!! normally I will wear flats to work bc i am on my feet all day...I am wearing my heels now everyday until the race!! I know I am a fast runner (heck i play soccer and i run...) so I am not worried about that but just the running in heels part is what is freaking me out lol i have not been known to be graceful in them... the rules say the heel has to be at least 3 inches high, no wedges or mules, no more than 3 inches circumfrence, no higher than the ankle, no taping the shoe to your foot, no boots, and you must finish the race with one heel intact, the shoe must be in its orignal state ( i dont even know if there can be foot petals in them...)

I tried wearing heels to work today, and yea...i am now wearing sneakers...this will be interesting!!
