Whose doing a slipper basket? I learn something new everyday...Is that really neccessary I mean I like the idea but I don't know.....

It really is a nice gesture. My friend just got married and did it, but unfortunately people didn't see them and I only saw a couple of people wearing them. It wasn't until after the wedding that everyone, including the bridal party remembered them and took them. So I wouldn't do them for that reason, especially if your really try to cut back to save money.

I am definitely doing this. I've never been to a wedding where there was a slipper basket, so I think it will be a nice and unusual touch. Plus, 2 of my FSILs always take their shoes off at fancy affairs to dance and put on white gym socks on over their pantyhose!!!!!!!! Now they can wear slippers and look classy

I learned about slipper baskets when I first started coming on this website. I have never been to a wedding with one, but you can do it for pretty cheap and I think it is a nice idea, so I am going to do it.
