tapped out on cash!!!!

feel like wearing the same old rags because i havent bought a thing in months nwr !!!

Im tapped out but I have bought a lot of stuff lately...i figure 'if Im spending thousands on a party, I can afford a pair of jeans! (or whatever)'

Not a very good attitude to have but I guess I have my whole life to save money..

Same here. My FI and I make monthly pymnts to our reception hall and other vendors and every month we pay something else. It's good b/c the wedding will be paid in full way before the date but for now we are STRAPPED FOR CASH!!!!!!

I actually caved in last weekend and went shopping. I am so tapped out right now its driving me crazy. And I feel so guilty for shopping, it wasn't worth it....Don't do it!!

I caved last week for my birthday. Put 150 bucks on my JCrew card, then felt guilty as HELL when I got gift certificates for my birthday, and also realized that Fi has been walking around in the same polo shirts for a year.

I think I'm going to use my gift certificates on him and surprise him with a few things. :)

i just moved into new apartment so i have to pay rent- security- realstate fee, plus all the wedding stuff at once

It happens, but when its all over you will feel like it was so worth it, then you will have cash back in your life and you will not know what to do with it. I am a shoe addict and you would think, now that I am no longer contributing to the wedding fund I would be buying shoes like there is no tomorrow, I am still saving...

It's killing me! I'm not rolling in the dough normally, so with saving for the wedding, I have even limited myself to going out to lunch at work to once a week! Then I think after the wedding is over we will be free, but it only continues...next will be saving for a house and then college for kids! AHHHHHHHHH!!! I need to start playing the lottery!

I have been married for a year, and I still havent bought anything for myself. I guess when you have a house...that is where all my $$$ goes.
