I HAVE to have a great photographer and video and will splurge on it lol
It is insane how much money flies out the window. I need to sit down and refocus!!

We're over budget on our rings and DJ so far... and we're trying to save for a house!! It's like I think there's a money tree in the backyard or something!

Yes! I went from a Friday night to a Sat. I then had to have Giorgio's over my orig choice...so spent $25 more pp to get married there...so pretty much spent 40 more pp than I originally planned. Then went froma dj to a band. Tahnkfully my favorite photographer was less than I budgeted for photography...and flowers were $1500 less than I expected.

Yeah I think I will be careful with the flowers. But we'll see how that goes!
We are saving for a home as well. All i think about it how we are going to save all this money lol

for flowers go to flower barn and look. The price quote i got from mike was half of what other places were quoting me!!!

i think Jackie and i went into every appointment thinking a certain way... but whne we saw/heard all the cool little additional things... we splurged. on everything!!! the otehr day i told a friend of mine how much we will be spending on the wedding and he almost punched me in the mouth. lol

We are definitely going over the initial budget set, but not by too much, probably about $5k, but we really can't go any more over than that because of all the money we are putting into redoing the house

We definitely went over, my parents added more to their budget and we about doubled our budget. I think we just under estimated how much everything is.

A budget??? What is that??? All I know is that it will cost money and we are looking for good deals for what we want. The money will be there in the end no matter.

i didnt really know what all this stuff cost going into this. i figured out how much we could save over the next 2 years and then we just started booking. nothing really has made me feel we cant pay it yet. the only thing i feel we may have to put on a credit card until after the wedding is a little bit of the honeymoon.

thankfully we really don't have a set budget, my father is footing the entire bill so when he tells me no for something thats when I know we are over budget!
