anyone else afraid???? renamed *The Official FMIL Thread****

that someone will attempt to ruin their wedding day????????????????????????

I am.... my CRAZY, SICK, NASTY FMIL and I refuse to call her that!!!

honestly if she says one more time that she does not want to come I will NOT send her an invite she can stay home in her miserable little world........
I don't play games you don't want to come then stay the f home....

I share your concerns. So far my FMIL & FSIL have done something to ruin my engagement party, my shower, and if they act badly at the wedding they will be asked to leave.

I am afraid of my future in laws being late for the ceremony...we are on a strict time frame because we are going to OWG for pics...but that will be a job for DOC...LOL

FMIL just went to FFIL's house last night drunk or on something screaming her head off on the front lawn that he won't give her his new home phone number.... what if something happens to the kids she says.... how will i contact you? She is out of her mind

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We barely talk to some of the people on FH's side. No one from his family rsvpd to my shower yet. And FMIL thinks I am trash because my son's father (who I was living with and passed away) was only legally seperated when we first got married.

Oh the list is endless. I am actually not letting the priest say the part where he asks if anyone has objections to this marriage because I am sure people will stand up!!

I have a couple of concerns but have honestly resigned myself to the fact that whatever is going to happen is going to happen and that's what will make our wedding day 'our wedding day'.

Same here! I have to learn to have faith in them that they won't dare do anything to ruin my day but we will see how the shower goes (whenever it is) and maybe then I'll be more trusting!

I think this is what I will do too my parents said they would politely ask her to leave....

It's not my FIL's I am afraid of.... It's my own Father & Grandmother that are givinng me grief and I am worried they will do or say something out of line.
