Anyone else delayed on the LIRR due to the fatality?
I was delayed for an hour this morning because the train ahead of me struck and killed a person at Bethpage. Then I raced into work and sat down to a meeting for two hours. Ugh! Anyone else stuck on the train this morning? Anyone actually on the train who hit the person?

No, but when I arrived at the Bethpage train station and got out of my car, a guy told me that there was no service out of that station. I drove to Hicksville- luckily I started my commute earlier than usual.

I did have delays on my line today, but it was the Babylon line. The delays started in Copaigue would that make a difference?

the delays on the babylon line were b/c a guy had a heart attack on the train in the tunnel to penn station. at least that's what my co-worker told me and she was on the train with the sick guy. geez, what an awful morning!

I take the Babylon line and was late this morning as well, but my train was delayed coming from the yard or something.

I dont take the train, but I was listening to 1010 wins and heard the Ronkonama line was having 30 min delays
