Anyone else do 'BIG hair'?

I'm making a scrapbook for my sister. She's getting married this spring. I'm doing a page about our middle/highschool hair and I swear I'm gonna fall off the chair laughing! HOW did we all think that 'BIG hair' was cool!?! and Man was our hair BIG. In Central New York, we called this phenomenon mall bangs, I've also heard it called mall hair, claw bangs hair-bear hair, etc. You'd recognize it if you saw it, all you need is a curling iron, blow dryer and a ful can of Aqua Net Extra Super hold *the pink can, aerosol of course!! Screw the ozone layer!
We both used to spend at least an hour everymorning doing our do's and you couldn't mess em up even if you tried. Hard as a rock. Teachers always wanted to touch my hair because they couldn't believe how high/hard it was!
Will anyone else fess up to having this hairstyle? I know I'm not alone, until now MY pictures were hidden away! Who else had 'BIG hair' lol?
