Anyone else do 'drive-by's' of their reception site?

I did one today...

purposely went out of the way to visit The Crescent Beach Club... and got CHILLS thinking of the limos pulling up to the front on our wedding day!

I'm not laughing at you - I'm just laughing at 'drive-by' - that's hysterical.

PS I used to do that, too.

I do it too!! Anytime there's traffic on the LIE, I say 'guess I'll take Jericho Tpke' - then I can drive by Floral Terrace!!!!

i work at my reception site... hehe

I do... I've done it twice so far

I've made FH drive by it several times.

You're lucky... I have to go waaaay out of my way to get up to Bayville! But it's worth it!

You're lucky... I have to go waaaay out of my way to get up to Bayville! But it's worth it!

I wish I could more but it is really far up north in Port Jeff and hard to find time to go since I work in Nassau and the ride seems long enough already!! I am going this Thursday for Lombardi's on the Sound Bridal Showcase. The closer it gets - the more real it seems!!! On Thursday the wedding will be 4 months away

yes... and I plan on going there on our 1st Engagement Anniversary in a couple of weeks on a Saturday around sunset, so I can't wait to see how it is then!

Definitely- I think my mom, dad, grandma, FMIL and maybe a few others might be coming. My FH cant- he has a college class UGH!! We will see you there!! Cant wait to eat a lot since I can finally eat after having all 4 widom teeth out a week ago!! I didnt come on LIW's for about 4 days- definite withdrawal that I have been on for 2 days straight now!!

I purposely go to pick things up and ask questions on Friday nights and during the 'party hours' on the weekends!!

EXACTLY!!! I'm a Floral Terrace stalker!!!

I haven't done this, but my FH does. There have been multiple occasions where he has come home from running errands and says he went by Watermill. I'm like what the heck were you doing over there?! Just checking it out he tells me. He's so cute.
