Anyone else ever have this issue with a sister-in-law??
My brothers wife, whom we all adore(d), was always really cool with all of us...let me add,, that she is the type of person who that time has gone on I've realized that she's all about herself. Everything is a competition, 'my wedding this, my wedding that'....You got marrried TWO years ago! GET OVER IT!!
furthermore, since they have been married, she's done a complete turn around..or shall I say, she dropped the act??
my brother has become a jerk as well!! They have been to my parents house a total of less than 10 times since they were married 2 years ago..I know I'm venting, but it frusturates the heck out of me, because we all used to be so tight!! Why do some ladies do this??

i feel the same , but fsil is not married. i will that there is competitioon between her and me. I dont like to compete with people.

one of my SIL is a complete idiot. The girl is a bum and a complete psychopath. She never even went to our wedding!!!! (her only brother who been nothing but amazing to her in her whole life). Needless to say we are still not talking to her. You know what HER LOSS!!!! don't stress yourself about your FSIL, we can't change people as sad as it is! XOXOXO Kitty

Yes My FSIL is always telling my wedding was this and my wedding was that. My ring was better etc. Yes she told me that her ring was better than mine. who says that. I just dont respond but in my head i saying u mother f-er u got married 17 years ago and you are not with him anymore and u are 38 year old, no job, and you still live at home w/ your mother but I dont say it. Keep your cool and just smile

AAHHH!! I'm the type of person who loves the closeness of family, and I feel like by my brother marrying her, he's turned into a complete jackazz...and i can't even say anything about it, because it will only make things worse...thank the sweet lord I have my own sister....
She can;t stand the sil more than me actually. She's competitive w/ me , but extra with my sister for some reason. It's just so annoying. Like the above poster said, I am not at all compettive, and I feel like I can't share any good news with my bro, because she turns it into a compettition!!!

Yes, I've been there. Let's say at least one of my siblings has married someone who is basically pulling my otherwise close family apart.

The worst part is, I actually have two SIL 's that are like this...but hey, what do you expect with 5 brothers??
at least the other SIL is a phony...if you didn't know her, you would think she was sweet, where as the other one ALWAYS has a puss on her face!!

Those are bold statements for her to make considering how things worked out!
