Anyone else feel like being the bride is too much responsibility for everyone's happiness???
I'm just slightly overwhelmed, and feel like everyone's happiness with this wedding rests on my shoulders. All decisions with every aspect, to do with every person - are up to me. I know that's how it works, but is everyone else's family and friends being difficult and making this harder on you??? Maybe i'm just pms-ing or something:)

I agree! Why does everyone have to call you about every fart and fiddle? And then after my head explodes, they find a way to figure it out themselves. I guess they fell that being my wedding is upstate I am the go-to person for EVERYTHING!!! I guess that's the way it is for everything, because we know every detail, so why not ask us?
But seriously, can't you figure it out on your own. I have found that creating a website (really easy on the knot) helps a lot!!!

Fart and fiddle, I like that, funny! I agree with everyone. I also feel like I get all the stress - complaints from both families. FH has been great, so that helps. I just feel like the families tend to forget what is really important in all this, and they are harping on the negatives - not seeing the big picture.

Well, I have had the mindset that it's my day and I'm doing it my way! B!tchy as it is, I just can't handle anyone elses 'suggestions' I've been to weddings, I've been to bridal showcases and I've watched tv to know what I do and don't want.

that's probably the best way to think, and the easiest. i've always been too worried about what people think and have tried to make everyone happy. maybe i just have to be like F-it and make decisions the way I want to. Oh this will be interesting...I have some strong personalities in the family.
