anyone else feel like they are bombarded with little details as their day approaches

there is just so many little details that are surfacing now that we are down to the final 7 weeks.

I am being bombarded with questions regarding how is everyone getting from point A to B (lots of OOTers), all of the little logistical stuff that you don't really think about is surfacing and really starting to stress me out.

We are providing shuttle service to our OOT guests staying in the hotel but now my mom wants to know how the family is getting to the place since they should be there beforehand. I feel like everyone wants me to have everything micromanaged to the minute

I'm not at that point yet, but I can tell that you're really stressed. Just take a minute and breathe. IMO guest transportation has nothing to do with you - it's GUEST transportation That means that it's their responsibility & not yours. You provided an excellent courtesy by arranging for a shuttle...for those that can't or won't be taking it for whatever reasons (including needing to arrive early), that's for them to worry about & work out not you. You have enough to do, so don't let this courtesy become a chore. If your mom is realllly worried about it, then just let her know that this is how it is & if she's not happy with that answer, maybe you can say 'OK - then I'm delegating it to you. Whatever YOU decide to do is fine & I will go along with it, but I'm not getting involved.' Good luck & HTH

I hear ya!

At 7 weeks, I thought I had plenty of time and now here I am at about 2 weeks.

You are being very courteous by providing shuttle service, which is not necessary. It is not your responsibility but you are being nice by arranging this.

Like the previous post, you have enough to do and do not need the added chores. I know we ran into issues about transportation because FBIL insisted on having a limo drive them home. Personally, it is not my responsibility to provide you with a ride. I delegated this out and told them that they should make arrangements because I am not getting involved and that it is really the least of my worries.

Don't let a courtesy become a chore for you.

i completely know how u're feeling!!! don't worry - it'll soon pass & all be over & you will look back on a beautiful day! there is no way to really avoid all 'the little things' except to keep yourself organized and try not to let them get to you! I remember saying 'ME & FH HAVE EVERYTHING DONE! i'm so happy i wont have a thing to do & i can relax the next month & a half!'......YEA RIGHT! past brides told me & they were right...there's always those little things that sneak up on you. just breath, keep your cool, and everything will work itself out wonderfully. DONT STRESS! YOUR DAY IS ALMOST HERE!!!!

I am right there with you fellow september bride. I am so overwhelmed. Last week I finally broke down and cried like all night. But I feel a little better after that. Still alot to get done though. Good luck!
