It might be a funny way to describe my situation, but my 5 bridesmaids all have extremely different personalities. It seems like a mish-mash of girls! I do actually laugh about it, but that's sort of why I'm letting each one chose her style dress. I'm a tad nervous that when it gets down to planning and the nitty gritty their personalities might clash. Only 2 of them even know each other, both of them are married and neither one invited the other to her respective wedding. These are my 5 closest friends--its just weird. Does anyone else have a situation or comments on this for me? Thanks!

Re: Anyone else feel like they have a mish-mash?
i can totally relate to your 'mish mash' situation. my girls are from all different time frames of my life, and all very close to me. i picked a MOH and it was hard..i still wonder if i did the right thing by even picking one. anyhow, they have been very good about getting to know each other, but that's just it none of them are really close to each other. and my FSIL is in the mix...she's a handful!! worries about everything! bless her but she's a pill sometimes. they all have very different personalities and they are picking different style tops to reflect that (one said i love halter styles-another said anything BUT halter-so that right there set me up to let them pick different tops!) i wish they all knew each other-but in the end i'm really the lucky one to have them all as friends. should be interesting though as the wedding approaches...i am just praying nothing goes awry in the BM mix though. so, again, completely relate to you!!!

I can really relate as well. I have my sister, his sister, my best childhood friend and then best friends from college and grad school. It is a little sprinkling of great people from very different times in life. Good thing is they are all very Kick *SS people, very funny, very flexible (I hope) and most have met each other several times before. I would love for them to bond with each other and discover....like I have...how great they all are!!

I used to have that. Friends from elementary school (same town), friends from HS (Catholic, regional school), friends from college, friends from job #1 and so on. I think it's pretty normal these days. Maybe a get together before the wedding, a brunch or something so they can all meet.
