Anyone else feel like they need a vacation from all the planning...

I just need a day off...I work all day and plan at night and on the weekends. So far this week I went to meet with the photographer (who never showed up to the meeting) and got my undergarments. Also bought the cake cutting set.

I cant wait to go on vacation, I need a break from the stress!!!!

Yes!!! I have done so much for this wedding, I feel like I have been neglecting my sanity. However, now that I am back to work and school I actually feel like I am on vacation. It is very stressful, but think of what all the hard work with lead to... The best day of your life. Take a week or two off. Relax and then go back to the planning. Good Luck!!!!

I completely agree!!!! I get all involved with this and then FI will make a comment and I cant believe it! He goes to all the appts with me and I totally appreciate that he does this without complaining BUT how does he think these appts get set up, who does he think decides who were are going to see out of the oh say 100 different photographers that work on LI??? Sorry alittle side tracked!
Anyway, we got some great advice from our Priest! He said once ever week or every other week, go out and dont talk about weddings at all! Dont mention it, just enjoy each others company and have a good time. It has worked because I know alot of couples who begin to feel as if the planning has consumed their relationship.
We also decided to take a long weekend and go to AC because thats the only type of Vacation we can afford with the wedding!!!!

Well we decided to go to Conn this weekend to do a bit of gambling!! Need sometime off from all the wedding planning - and apt cleaning.

Try to reconnect a bit since we havent been spending too much fun time together...
