Anyone else frustrated?

I feel the same way ! I know people who got engaged after us and will be married before us There was no other way we could do it though...I just keep telling myself that when their weddings our over I'll still have mine to look forward to !

I feel the same way. But then again i need to save for my own wedding. I know i really wish that i can move it up but i know that it anit going to happen.

Cheer up i know that it will go fast!

I felt the same way, especially since ALOT of people have been engaged after us and getting married before us too, but our time is slowly approaching!!

rsolano hust think.....in August.....our weddings will be a year and a half away!!!

I don't think I'm so much getting frustrated, I think I'm just getting an itch to start everything. Like I want to go dress shopping really bad and do my registry but I still have such a long way to go. I wish it was sooner but I want to graduate grad school first, it's just something I need to do for myself to make sure my life is on track before I start a life with someone else.

Grad school here too!!!!! I grad next may and would like to be working for a year b4 I go & get married and find out we cant live on just 1 income

Dont be frustrated!!! Just enjoy this time now. I am in no rush b/c I know it is going to fly by & then I'll be sittin here going , wondering where the time went

Just keep collecting ideas of all the wedding items you would like to include so that when the time comes to actually go out and buy that dress, or favors, or book other vendors- you will feel less stressed out than others who attempt to plan a wedding in under 6 months

Anyone feeling frustrated about how long their wedding is from now? FH decided on a long engagement (27 months) so that we could save up $$$ But it just seems so far away even though everyone tells us the time flies by and before we know it, the wedding day will be here. Just not having a great day and getting frustrated by it...just needed to vent. Thanks for listening!

i felt the same as you when i got engaged last august , i thought my day would never come. fast foward , now i only have less then 4 months to go. and i feel that i forgot to book something. so you have time and dont worry too much, planning should be happy!

It seems like not very many people are interested in my wedding right now since we have about 3 family weddings this summer... understant its only cause mine is so far away, but it hurts when even my own mom is so blah about it!

Aww, I know how you feel b/c FSIL got engaged a month ago and is getting married 8 months after FH and I and it seems like FH's parents are more interested in hers than in ours But at least we have my parents and our friends who are more than excited for us!

aww i know exactly how you feel. We have our ways to go too but like everyone is telling you, time will fly and I just want to enjoy the engagement period because I know that we will never get it back. However, i cannot wait until the day i see my fh standing at the end of the aisle.

I completely agree anthonys girl ( sounds so weird to call you by that!) I love and hate that we have a 2 year engagement all at once. I love that we have time to enjoy being engaged and planning the weddings, but of course I just want it to get here already so it can happen and be awesome! But as so many people say, time will fly and before we all realize two years will be up and the weddings will be here!

Same here..... 2yrs. at times can be a bit dishearting and sometimes I feel like telling FH lets move it up a year! But then when those feeling have past and Im in my normal state of mind again, I know that we will be so much better off.... finanically, mentally even phsyically ( ) That the wait will be soo worth it! The time is going to fly by, just enjoy every minute of your engagement because we will never have this time back & you definitly do not want to remember it in a negative way either!
