I am going to FM you in a sec - we are looking into prices in a hotel in our area. We cant stay in a hotel near Chateau Briand - the church is right near our house. Such an annoying decision but over 15 people in my apartment doesnt sound appealing!

I know!! there is no way I can have all those people in here... to top it off I will make myself CRAZY with cleaning the days before the wedding.. I will walk down the isle with bruised knees and smelling of bleech

But seriously there is a HUGE lack of hotels near us that actually have suites.

Was debating it also... just thought since i grew up in my house wanted to take pictures there. Very undecided.

I'm getting ready at a hotel too. Staying there the night before the wedding. My mom's apt is small to begin with , and then my uncle moved in for a short time, no room there. I have 3 cats which means CAT HAIR everywhere, and I didnt feel comfortable at someone elses house.

Im actually ahppy about it, it will be clean, roomy and less stressful I think.

I am too! I am getting married at 11:30am so I will have to up very early. To me the more sleep the happier a bride I will be! A half hour sleep is very important (barring that I could sleep at all!

Re: Anyone else get ready at a hotel???

Got ready for my sisters wedding at a hotel. Learned a lesson.

I don't think this would be the case for LIW brides (uber-prepared for anything!) but we kept finding ourselves needing things we would have had easy access to in a home. Extra pins, different kind of hairspray, razor, more CD's...etc.

I think as long as you have packed anything that might come up as *neccesary* in the process of getting ready, a hotel is the way to go!!
