anyone else go on a shopping spree today??!!

o man.....i never do this but my dad and I went out @ 7:30 this morning and hit the stores. I did the best @ TARGET and HALLMARK. TARGET had unbelievable wrapping paper & I got our whole set of holiday dishes & glasses and bowls and salad plates-sooo excited!! I got great decorations @ HALLMARK. I got great stuff. even hit up WALMART for 2 tub/bin thingys to store everything in. My friend helped me organize everything. we are all set for Christmas next year!! woohoo! i figured i would get stuff for 50% off and store it rather than go nuts next year right after the wedding!! not to mention I have a whole other bin of christmas stuff I bought about a month ago, too!! woohoo!! anyone else take advantage of great buys?!

Scott and I bought a tree today at Harrow along with a few ornaments. Then we went to Bed BAth & beyond and bought a menorah. We also went to Michael's and got stockings and a few ornaments for next year. We had a lot of fun!

Re: anyone else go on a shopping spree today??!!

Does Fortunoff mark down their Christmas items after the season? I bought a crapload of stuff this season and I'd like to go back and get more! I got so many compliments on these pop-up X-mas cards I purchased there! I'm hoping I can find similar ones next year.

I went on a 'shopping spree' on-line. I ordered some stuff from Horchow, Neiman Marcus, Ebay...but who am I kidding...I shop on-line everyday.

Jenny5150, yes the day after Christmas Fortunoff's marksdown all of their xmas stuff to 50% off! but, i don't know how much you are going to find today. My mom was there yesterday and said it was a zoo! People were lined up around the block yesterday morning.

Looks like I'll be sticking with on-line shopping!

I wonder if there will be anything left if I go to some stores today. LINENS N THINGS was having a huge clearance.

I got some good deals at Fortunoff yesterday too. I got a few nutcrackers for the collection and a fireplace toolset and log holder (the two only cost $35!). I was very happy with the purchases!

Suzanne-when I walked by Victoria's Secret yesterday there was a sign that said panites $2.99--i think they are having clearance.

jen-i am sure they are still having sales.
