Anyone else have??

Anyone else have??

or know anything about a low lying placenta??

Basically the placenta is underneath the baby..meaning that when I give birth that it would have to come out before him (which cant be done) so I might need a c-section...

However the DR said MOST of the time the placenta will move once the baby gets bigger... so I just have to take easy for awhile, and as long as I have no bleeding there is no need to worry now...

Anyone else know anything about this???

The DR didnt seem to worried... so Im not freaking out.... not yet at least lol...

It's pretty much exactly what the doctor said to you...that there is a chance the placenta will migrate up as the baby grows...so, you're not guaranteed a c-section at this point. They just tell you these things to make you aware...but, at this point in your pregnancy, it can be considered too much information. Just make sure to report any spotting or bleeding to your OB asap.

I have one. It is nothing to worry about. I was told that if i start to spot to go directly to the hospital. I had plecenta privia or complete coverage at 20 weeks but now it is slowly starting to move. Most of the time they move and don't cause a problem. If they don't move they have to deliver the baby by c-section. Best of luck and if you have any questions FM me.

I heard about this in Lamaze and it didn't seem like anything to really worry about just like everyone said if you start to bleed or spot call your GYN

Thanks for the info...

It wasnt the c-section thing that freaked me out... it was the spotting...and the possibility of rupturing the placenta early that scared me a little....

My SIL had that and it moved up well before the end of her PG... you should be fine!
