Re: Anyone else have a SO who is 'dead inside'?
DH didn't cry when seeing me in my wedding gown, and I didn't cry on our wedding day either. Neither of us are really mushy.

for those of you that want a 'sensitive' guy, take my fh for a week. he cries at every little thing. it was sweet at first, i mean he cried the first time we, you know, nod-nod, wink, wink. and its very sweet that he cares so much, but enough is enough. trust me, you will give him back in half a day.

FH and I have a $100 dollar bet on the wedding day. I say he'll cry he says no, men don't cry. I'm going to pull out all the stops so I'll win.

Nope my DH doesn't cry but I don' think it qualifies them as dead.Does you FH express his feeling other ways?
Of course I wanted DH to cry at our wedding but he didn't....he had this not so cute nervous laugh. Just what every bride wants a laughing groom
Eh he loves me and I know that so in the end that's all that matters.

Fh doesn't cry often.. except when i'm really upset and crying.. then he'll start to tear up and depending what its on he'll shed a tear or two.when he proposed he got all teary eyed and almost cried but i started laughing cause i thought it was so sweet that he was crying (kinda).. yea i ruined the moment! i know!

Re: Anyone else have a SO who is 'dead inside'?
FH dosent cry.. but gets teary with sad sports movies--- whenever i need to reaffirm that he is 'sensitive' i pop on 'RUDY' and watch his reactions.. and 'Brians Song' (from the early 80s or 70s i think). I guess he can't deal w/ bad things happening to sports people?
he cried once on the phone while we were broken up a few years ago... i only got to hear it though.
hope that didnt come out wrong--- i dont want to make him cry
but i understand what you're saying Jennie-- ya just wanna break the Chandler Syndrome

I've seen mine cry a few times in the 4 years we've been together. One was when we were discussing his having to move back to England, he just broke down. And then there were many teary goodbyes the year I lived in NY and he lived in London. He got a little choked up during our vows, but didn't really cry.ETA: It breaks my heart when he cries

Mine cries - ALOT!!!He is a sensitive man...
I keep jokingly telling him he is not going to get a puppy after the wedding if he sobs through the whole ceremony.
He will sob - but so will I.
