How do you stop yourself from becomming completely offended by every rude remark and comment?

my sister too. and she's MOH! But whatever, I can't force it. Maybe she'll come around...at least all my other BMs are REALLY excited for me!!!!

Well, I have an uninterested mother... It hurts! it's to the point I just don't talk about the wedding plans with her at all.

ugh one of my BM used to be my best friend. She moved to florida a couple years ago but we tried to keep on touch. She knows shes my bridesmiad ...she never calles me never asks how the plans are nothing. The worst part is me and FH go ttogether b/c of her so I thought she would be more happy for us then anyone else

My sister but, she isnt the girly type and is also in nursing school. One of my BMs isnt as well. She was at first but, has back off now. But my Matron of Honor is the best so far FSIL is good as well.

I only have an MOH, and she is 23. I know she is totally uninterested in the planning. She is interested in the reception (dancing and drinking). I keep trying to keep it in perspective that its because she is young and her life and priorities are totally different then mine right now. Sometimes it gets the best of me though.

All of my BMs are fantastic so I can't complain but my good friends older sister was her MOH and she was so jealous that when we went dress shopping or anything she was like 'that is stupid why do you want that' and just knocked EVERYTHING!! Even for her bacholrette party we took her out to dinner and then planned on going out to a club to go dancing and her sister 'suddenly' comes down with a stomach ache and wants to go home....and she (the bride) felt so bad going out without her sister that she went home after dinner too! I was so mad and felt so bad for her!!!!

Yea i just came to find out one of mine really cant afford it. Which ***** - but I try to get her involved in alot of the stuff and she just could care less.. I suppose thats the breaks tho... It just ***** because if I couldnt afford it - I just wouldnt be in it..

My sister is the same way. She is the MOH and even when i asked her to be part of my day she was just like o thats cool... THAts cool are u serious!! It botherd me at 1st but im learning to just suck it up the other Bms are all excitied so i try to not focus on my sisters attitude! My mom says its because im younger then her so shes a little jelious that im gettin married be4 her! whatever thats lame i think but to each there own i guess...

My MOH, and 2 of my Bridesmaids are the same way, but the way I look at it is if they want to be a part of my special day they will come around.

i guess i can answer yes and honestly, its most of them. I don't really care though. i got over it when my health issues came on - the wedding is just a wedding and i am not letting it stress me out .

Yup!!! I have 3 BMs who have been there for me throughout all of the planning.. One who calls as much as she cans, and one who I think i've spoken to for a total of 10 minutes 6 months... Its pretty bad... And I KNOW that she hasn't bothered to ask the other BMs or my mom about the Bridal Shower which I know is in the works.

yes my sister who is my MOH is also uninterested in all aspects of my wedding. It really s*cks and annoys me. I was her MOH and was involved in everything!!!

Almost my whole bp is like that-they usually roll their eyes..i guess b/c i'm the first one they don't get the stress of it.

almost all of my BMs are uninterested....its ridic. i feel like if they were getting married then i would be so interested and involved.
