Hey, how are you?? Debi has stuff in just about every closet of the house!! I lie awake at night, trying to figure out who to give some of her old dresses/gowns, from HS. I thought of donating them to a theater group at a local college, or, if they're not too outdated, give them to a school, who collects them for girls who can't afford to buy them for the special dances. I do anticipate her taking a lot of stuff next year, hopefully, like Christmas tree and all her totes of ornaments, etc.
My other Daughter has Grandson's baby/toddler clothes here. I want to wash up the toddler clothes for a niece. And then there's son, who moved his college apt. home. Our garage is stuffed, as well as the attic, etc. Just biding my time. I can only imagine how Moms with six children deal with this!! Mary MOB

My basement if full of my three children's left-overs and none of them live at home. I do not live under the false hopes that they will one day take their belongings with them. I am sure that their junk will be here until I either sell my home or I die!! Consider yourself lucky though.....I still have a basement full of my son's lizards that I take care of!

Hi Mary............Yes I have lots of my daughter' s things and she moved into her condo about 14 months ago. She always 'means' to do it.....just runs out of time. Oh well !!!!!!!!!!! Thank God we have a fairly large home!!!!!!!!

me too, but slowly I am boxing the stuff and whenever I visit her I bring a box or two. I have another daughter that also lives on her own and she also has stuff here. I guess we really never get rid of them, but then again do we really want that.

I was on awhile ago and everyone helped me with places for a dress. Have been busy. Daughter got married Oct. 6th but still like to go on to see whats new.

Welcome back....my son and DIL got married on Sept. 3rd, but I still come on to talk to all the new friends I have made on here. Plus it is nice to hear how their weddings are coming along.
