Hi Mary.......first I just want to say that I am so happy your test turned out to be better than you had thought. Hopefully you will start to feel better soon.

What's new......oh my....so busy between work, wedding and Christmas that I am just non-stop. I also have to decide on a dress and order one...probably right after Christmas...time is going so fast, isn't it!!!!!!!

I live in Bellmore, NY ( long island south shore). My friends daughters are getting married in August and november and so they ask me for ideas and it is easy to find them on this site.

Hi!!! Is that near The Great South Bay, the location of Chateau La Mer? Do you work outside the home? I'm at home. I make myself useful, by taking my Sr. Mom, who's almost 80, to Dr. appts, stores, etc. I also help out when my other Daughter, needs me to keep Grandson. That's been a bit more recently, with her increased work hours. Tell me more about yourself, if you'd like. I enjoy getting to know new people!! Mary

Hey, you busy lady!!!!!!!!!! What kind of dress do you have in mind? I didn't get to that yet!! Recently, I asked Debi if we could go together, to King of Prussia, to look around. Only slim pick'ins around Lancaster! However, I haven't checked a store called Doneckers yet. The icy roads/and or rain have kept me inside!! I don't really HAVE to go outside until the end of the week, to take Mom to a Dr. appt. Mary

I've been busy with all of the Christmas shopping. My daughter and FSIL came up for a week over Thanksgiving and did some additional wedding planning. They booked flowers, photographer, hair/make-up and she picked out bridesmaids dresses. Now all she has left is the DJ and hotel for OOT guests. I haven't even started looking for a dress for myself. I figure I'll wait for the spring (and until I can shed those unwanted holiday pounds!)

Hi, Bellmore is closer to Jones Beach. Originally a brooklyn girl but moved out here 26 years ago. When first moved here went back to Brooklyn everyday for about 3 years. Hi, Bellmore is closer to Jones Beach. Originally a brooklyn girl but moved out here 26 years ago. When first moved here went back to Brooklyn everyday for about 3 years. I actually live about 15 minutes west of there about 200 feet from the Great South Bay. How did a Lancaster girl like you wind up having a wedding on Long Island? We should meet up someday when you come to Long Island.

Hi, Kathy!!!!!!!! I see you stay up late too!!!!!!!! With my crazy arm, I toss and turn, all night, then, exhausted I sleep late, then stay up late. Debi and Fred plan to come in on the boat too!!! Well, Debi met Fred in Lancaster, about five yrs. ago. He lived and worked here. Debi has always wanted a beach themed wedding, so Chateau La Mer, on Great South Bay. She wants to see about getting a permit to take some wedding pics at Fire Island.
I'd love to meet you!!!!!!! That would be so much fun!!!!!!! Debi is also having her ceremony at CLM.
Debi went to Philly today, for jury selection; Thankfully, she was not selected!!!!!!!!! The poor girl hasn't been feeling well, and she's on overload with work and the wedding. The third week of Jan., she and the staff at her company are going on a work retreat to Florida. I'm sure she'll get 'some' R&R there!!!! How about your Daughter? Well, good night for now!!! Mary

if that is so....I am impressed. I love ny so I get it.

My daughter is always been a stressy kid. Poor girl has lots of stomach problems and now she found out today during her school(teaching) break she needs an endoscopy!!! So much for her relaxing during Christmas week. I think she is overwhelmed, but she is staying organized and her fiance is really good about being involved with the planning. Good night...tonight I must not stay up late....lots to do at work tomorrow and I have four parties this week to attend!

lived in 3 different areas. When I was young lived near the brooklyn botanic gardens. That was until I was about 13 then moved to the Midwood section , 28yh street between K & L. Went to Midwood High then Brooklyn College. When I moved out on my own moved to Bensenhurst. West 6th Street off Kings Highway. Loved it there, especially the food places. My parents and brother still live in brooklyn. They both live on Ocean Parkway. One between R& S and the other between L & M. Still like going back especially for the pizza at DiFaras. That was my old hang out place. Still go to the DUMBO area and Park Slope area for great Restaurants.

My older son lived on West 5th right off of Kings Highway when he first got married. I live on 85th Street and 18th Avenue and have lived there since I was 10 years old, except during 7 years of my first marriage. Yes good food and shopping is still part of the neighborhood.

Sorry I didn't see your post right away. Your Daughter sounds a bit like Debi. I tried calling Debi to see.......oh my, I was going to say that I haven't heard from her yet, but right in midsentence, my dear girl called!!!!!!!! She's coming over and we plan to go for groceries, because this area, according to Debi, is suppose to have a storm tomorrow; Don't know if it's snow. I forgot to ask!!!
