Anyone else have different # GM vs. BM?

Anyone else have different # GM vs. BM?


My FH has 8 GM. I have 4 BM. I was wondering if anyone else has such a difference in #'s also.

For my brothers wedding there was 4 BM and 2 GM but I am having 5 and 5.

Did the GM & BM walk down the aisle together or were the GM already placed at the altar and the BM walked down the aisle by themselves?

You can have the GM already at the alter and have the BM walk alone.

I have 11 bridesmaids and he has 10 groomsmen. We will just have one guy double up!!

we do, we have 3 bm, 2 gm, 2 fg

we're having 8 groomsmen (2 best men), five bridesmaids, two ringbearers and one flower girl. don't know how we're going to pair them up yet.

if you have more Gm then BM just have one girl walk with 2 guys.

1 MOH

2 BMs

1 Jr BM

I have 5 or 6 BM and he has anywhere from 6-9 GM. He hasn't solidified his number. It doesn't really bother me though. I will probably just have them double up.

Yeah, I have a bif discrepency--
GMs are 6
Bms 3 1/2 (my 8 yr old neice is a Jr bridesmaid)

But what can you do?!

I figured my BMs are going to walk down the isle alone and double up on the way up the isle
It will all work out! (i hope )

yes! 6 bm's and 3 groomsmen + 1 lil ring bearer

Yes. We had:
1 Best Man vs 1 Matron
2 Groomsmen vs 2 bridesmaid
1 Usher vs None - one bridesmaid had 2 escorts
