As much as I cannot wait to be married, a part of me is going to miss the excitement and anticipation of wedding planning. Wedding planning has most definitely had its stressful moments and it was something I never really wanted to do anyway, but it really grew on me. FH and I grew so much closer (more than I ever thought possible) over the last year, and it has been fun to work together and plan our special day and future. I'm going to miss some of the planning, excitement, and anticipation!

yes and no. I am definatley going to miss planning my own wedding, but both my brother and his fiance are getting married, as well as one of my bridesmaids, so I figure after I get marred I have 2 years of wedding planning left!! :)

I might miss the excitement of being engaged....once the wedding band is on, noone will ask 'when is the wedding'

I think I might be a little sad (I was sad on sunday, the day after my shower, because it was over and I'll never have another bridal shower ;) ) BUT, I'll be happy to be married and to just get back to a regular life, without the stress and money worries. At least until the house and then hopefully the babies come

How bad is the last month going to get? I'm exhausted, stressed and miserable now -- with just over a month to go.

I cannot wait for it to be over...the entire planning process - only 3 mths so shouldnt complain has made me sad and resentful...I didnt want a wedding, wanted to elope but got 'persuaded' to have one...Looking forward to getting my life back and to be able to have a real conversation with people without the word wedding coming up..........I have so much to look forward to after the wedding and my answer is Yes I feel sad now during the planning process and will be happy when all this is over.
I guess the whole planning thing is just not for me

I wish I felt the same- my FH could care less about the wedding or the honeymoon- he said its just one day and that he is more excited about spending our lives together. I really didn't get into the planning either and actually can't wait for it to be over!

i can't be sad...just another phase over and another GREAT one started. i'll be happy to have this whole cycle completed, and be able to focus on new goals and save money for new reasons! just hope i can soak in the days-stop and smell the roses because i know it will fly by.

I used to get SO SAD just thinking about when the wedding was over and how upset I would be BUT Im really not! I have never been so happier!!!!! I miss it a teeny tiny bit every once in awhile but my SIL is getting married soon so I help her out plus I still get to come on here. My life FINALLY went back to normal. Where DH & I can enjoy weekends, not have to save EVERY penny and we can actually spend a little money on ourselves for once!!

I'm going to miss the planning a bit.. but I can't wait until the honeymoon!! To relax and not worry about anything.. Everything is over and we will be together... Then the fun begins!

i can't wait til we're married ... my MOH is doing everything for me! I can't stand 'planning' things ..all that calling, reservations, shopping around .. hehe she's the greatest! I just wanna have the best time that day!

The stress is definitely starting to get to me, but I would be lying if I said I am not loving the planning.
It has been a huge creative outlet for me and has made me realize I probably need a change in careers! So I think I will definitely be sad when it is over, because the planning will be over, and so will this time in my life. Being engaged is so special and a once-in-a-lifetime event. I feel so nostalgic about it already and I still have 6 weeks to go!
