As much as I cannot wait to be married, a part of me is going to miss the excitement and anticipation of wedding planning. Wedding planning has most definitely had its stressful moments and it was something I never really wanted to do anyway, but it really grew on me. FH and I grew so much closer (more than I ever thought possible) over the last year, and it has been fun to work together and plan our special day and future. I'm going to miss some of the planning, excitement, and anticipation!

I know what you mean - I am already depressed. I get depressed for other people too when their weddings are over. I am overall just SAD.

I'm looking forward to our day and not sad at all! It's a great time in all of our lives... and there is so much more to do after you get married, that you should never be bored.

Re: Anyone else kind of sad?
Ya know, Im kinda looking forward for the wedding to be over. I will miss the planning, but I'm working 7 days a week right now to pay for it. After the wedding, I'm looking forward to getting my life back. I really miss hanging out with FH on the weekends and all the fun stuff we used to do together.

I'm definitely going to be sad when the excitement and activity of planning is over. Our engagement is only 9 months, so everything will be a big blur when I look back.

Honestly- I cannot wait for it to be over-- I am so exhausted, stressed, etc.
You'll feel differently when you get really close.

Re: Anyone else kind of sad?
I think I will miss it. As it is I am so far ahead of schedule with things and I get sad that there aren't any projects to get involved with. I will miss the planning and preparing although on the other hand I can't wait to not have to save every penny - or stress over it.

Re: Anyone else kind of sad?
I definitely think it will be kind of sad afterwards...
I felt the same way after my engagement...I kept waiting and waiting for it to happen and then when it did it made me kind of sad to know that I no longer had that to look forward to....
You just have to keep in mind....there will always be something to look forward to...buying a house, a new car, new jobs, babies, etc....

Uh, I thought I was going to be but I've never been HAPPIER to be done with something in my life!! Look at it as an experience you had but it is time to move on!
