Not that I set my alarm, but usually I am up between 745 and 830 on weekends. I just get depressed, like I wasted part of my day off, if I sleep late. But it's not like I actually get up and do anything I mean, technically, sleeping till 830 IS sleeping in for me since I am normally up at 545. But like clockwork, I open my eyes early on the weekends.

Sage, that STINKS! You should leave a note on the door for him to yell when he gets there Ok, let's talk crazy moms, though. My mother wakes up at 445 EVERY SINGLE DAY! First she meditates, then she does yoga and THEN she runs on the treadmill for an hour She's NUTS! Then she complains that she can't stay awake past 830 at night

Normally I don't because I work about 10 hours on Friday and wake up about 5:30 on Fridays. Yesterday was an exception because the schools had 2 hour delays so I actually got enough sleep yesterday. Yay!

Re: Anyone else like to be up early on the weekends?
Well, see, I don't actually get my day going I really just like the idea of not sleeping. I used to only sleep like 3 hours a night. I'm also a night person, BIG TIME. So being a night person AND a person who likes to be up early on the weekends, makes for an odd combo. Somethin's got to give!

WOW!!!! Your Mom must be in amazing shape....I wish I had that type of will-power!!!! She does that every morning????
I did leave a note on the door to knock really hard...I should have said 'yell at the window', but I think he would have thought I was crazy!

My mother IS in amazing shape, and she does it EVERY morning. She loves to meditate and do yoga, but she hates the running, she just does it so she can stay in shape. She's going to be 51 next week, she looks like she's SO much younger! I wish I had her drive to do it!

Oh, I KNOW! She used to be really overweight and then she decided never again, and voila! But we also call her the food nazi because if she sees you putting something you shouldn't in your mouth, you get yelled at

I have accepted the fact that I'm turning into a morning person like my mother. But unlike my mother, I do not get up at 5:30 am on my own. However sleeping late for me is sleeping past 7:30.

I like to be up before 10 to make the most out of the weekend. However, I do NOT appreciate my downstairs neighbors watching a movie in surround sound at 830 am this morning!!

Re: Anyone else like to be up early on the weekends?
i love being up early on the weekends. that is my special quiet time - DH is still asleep, so i can make a nice cup of coffee and read the paper from cover to cover without feeling guilty. i can also run some errands and be back before DH wakes up, so i don't feel like i miss out time with him.
