I am suddenly REALLY nervous, my tummy is doing flip flops. I want to just run to town hall, and get it over with. My situation is complicated, I have been married before for 8 years, so I think I get flooded with emotion sometimes. I know not many of you have had a similar experience, but am I nuts for being so nervous????

You have every right to be nervous. It didn't work out te first time and you don't want that to happen again. The good thing about it is that you know what you don't want, so hopefully your FH is exactly what you need. You'll be fine. Enjoy it.

Lu-Ann, Im sort of in the same situation...I was married for less than a year about 7 years ago...FH is an only child & this is his first wedding & he was into have a big blow-out--which was more than fine w/ me.
I feel like I am more aware of what marriage is and have more realistic expectations, I'm also older & more mature & feel better prepared.
Lately I've been getting nervous, but more so for the wedding....little things like worrying about who will do my hair and if my girls' dresses will come in on time.

Thanks Cindy. You know...I was just sooo commited the first time, so many issues came up in our marriage, and we were so very young, and had little coping skills.
This relationship has few problems...it's been a breeze really, so i don't know why i am scared, PLUS I HATE the BIG wedding idea, but FH was never married and youngest of TWO children, and in the beginning when I brought up little wedding I was quickly overcome by a lot of NO's from his family. Now that is is coming closer, I wish I stood my ground more! I guess I just have to start drinking early!

i finally started getting nervous yesterday when i found out my dress came in!!!

nerves are normal!! especially if this is a 2nd marriage for you. don't worry, you'll be okay. just remember that it's okay to be a little nervous!!

I know exactly how you feel. This is going to be my second marriage and his also. They were married very young. I was older when I got married but things still didn't work out. We were both very 'afraid' of getting too serious BUT things happen and people change. Who you were back then is not the person you are now. You're more mature, know what you want and know what it takes to make a relationship work. You've thought about this committment and are not taking it lightly. Nervous is normal!!!
