I keep looking at others invites and I drool...I stare and smile and point and send them out... but then I say, I really dont care for my own invites!Like I literally have NO feeling to have my own made!!!!!!
Anyone else feel this way? I am really considering just going with the printed ones from fhs job... easy and simple....
please tell me im not alone!!

HOnestly, I was really feeling like this until I FINALLY saw one of Tessa's invites that I wanted. I was never into getting my own invites done bc I never saw something and thought 'OMG I LOVE THOSE!!' Def. keep looking b/c I felt the same way until I found something I really liked. Have you looked into Tessa as well?

I love sooo many girls invitations on here and really want what they have but, my budget doesnt fit it so I am printing out my own.

Yes..... I like a lot of them but I cant find any I love for me that has the feel that I'm looking for. So I'm having them made... I should see a mock up soon. I hope I love them.
I dont know why I cant find any that I'm in love with.

This is why FH and I are taking our ordinary but pretty invites and mounting them onto pocketfolds. . .for a bit more of a WOW! feel to them.

I had literally looked at hundreds of invitations until I saw mine then I was instantly in love.
I think you need to actually go and look. Looking at pics online isn't enough.

oh u r not alone...fh has his heart set on the custom amde disney ones that will cost us a small fortune..so im trying right now to convince him lets go with something plain and simple but still beautiful

I was totally not into invitations! I refused to pay 100's of dollars on something that was gonna end up in the garbage. I ended up ordering pretty, simple invites online. They cost me $100 for 100 invites and response cards.
Edited becuse I just realized that I was signed on under my sisters sn. This is gail (gt143ea)

I love to look at everyone elses b/c they're so pretty but for me....
I don't care what mine look like. Its not something my family would keep (besides maybe my mom) and don't want to spend alot on something that will end up in the garbage. I'm getting the cheapest prettiest ones I can find and using the money for what my guests will really enjoy like the music and entertainment!

honestly, i think it's crazy that people spend exorbitant amounts of money on invites... i guess if people have it they spend it! but for us, it's just too much... we looked at invitations that were $17 PER INVITE!!!!! CRAZY!!!!! and i never keep invites i get from friends, they always end up in the garbage!!!

I feel the EXACT same way!! I am not into invites!!! As long as it tells people the time and place I am ok with that!!

This post is like therapy!! I am on to invites next and just can not get motivated. I have seen very pretty, expensive invites but can't see myself spending the money. I also have seen some girls with invites that really fit thier own wedding or personality. Nothing moves me for my own though. I guess this is why the books tell you to pick the things that are important and spend $$ there - some thing has to fall toward the bottom of that list

i wasnt into them either and it was bc i wasnt finding anything i was totally in love with... then i decided to create my own design and i cant stop looking at them now maybe thats what you need to do to...

Invitations have been the biggest PITA of all the planning....its hard to find something you can both agree on, that fit your style, that are in your budget. The first place we went, we were there 2 hours and left feeling like we wasted time.. Then the 2nd place, Invitations and Beyond, an LIW vendor was a totally different, and wonderful experience. So many things to look at and a huge variety of prices. We found our invitations and have yet to order them-we don't want to order too soon and have them sitting around.
