I'm trying not to be but there's so much to do & only 37 days left !!! I'm going to CT tomorrow, Boston next week & Vegas for 11 days in sept for work & it's all manditory travel. I really want to just quit. sorry to complain, I just have to get it out. I keep seeing all these posts of girls freaking out that they have so much to do & their list is shorter then mine & they have 4 or 5 months left. It really makes me feel worse. I'm sure it will all get done somehow but I don't know how.

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
do not compare yourself to other brides!! I have so much to get done still that girls getting married a year from now have less to plan than me! But I know that I will get everything booked and ready in my own time and it will be perfect in my own way. Seriously, its your wedding, so measure your planning according to your own timeline. And if you really can't get it done, delegate to someone you trust or just forget it! In the end whether you had personalized menus for example, or not, is not going to change the fact that you are married to the person you love! okay--enough of my babbling, I'm overtired, but I hope that helped a little!

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
First of all hugs for you. I felt the same way. I got a new job that required me to go through an academy that last 5 months before my wedding. I had no time. I sat down with my MOH with a list of things that I needed and she took it and ran. Dont feel bad asking for help. So many friends a d family in the end help tuns. It all worked out perfect. You can do it !! Your wedding will still be the most amazing day of your life!!

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
I am finding myself more and more overwhelmed each day as the wedidng gets closer, but the way I see it is if I don't get every little detail perfect, the things that matter are taken care of. I found an amazing man to be my groom. There will be great food, we'll have fun, the people we love will be there, and we're going on an amazing HM after. That's what is really needed for a wedding to be perfect. Oh yeah, and the marriage license. Still have to do that...

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
I felt just like you...and I had to get everything done 3 weeks before my wedding because I was out of town for two weeks and was returning the week before! If I could do it - YOU could do it, trust me!
Somehow it all gets done...just recruit your BP for help if you need it!

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
I know how you feel date twin! In the last two weeks I've been contacted by four vendors to start finalizing things. I've been rushing around since to get everything planned out so I can finalize everything We haven't even looked at the menu for the RH yet or planned the RD orfigured out what we're doing as far as taking pics the day of. And don't even get me started on my DIY's...

Re: anyone else overwhelmed
hang in there. break down your 'to-dos' into a small list for each day and do a little bit at a time. And, try to get people to help. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you look at a TON of things to do, but when you break it down and delegate the work to other people (FH, friends, family) it seems much more managable. Hang in there, it's going to be okay. LASTLY, my advice is don't take on any more 'new' things. Figure out what's most important and tackle that first. Good luck!
