I can't believe I am stuck here at work... I came in this mornig at 8am and at first it was ok.. My phones were ringing and we were busy, then all the sudden it was like ghostville... Now I am stuck here until 5:30pm and I have to be back here tomorrow at 8am... Wow letting it out helps... thanks for listening ...

sounds sucky. do you get a day off during next week to make up for this? that would be great if you had a day off in the middle of the week. you could holiday shop and the malls would be so much less crowded.

No I work 6 days a week and the only day I had off this week was Sunday and Thursday... Usually Sundays are my only day off.....

Don't feel too bad, I'm at work too. Most people took off today, but I used all of my vacation time for my HM.

I work for a newspaper, so there are people in my building 24 hours a day. It doesn't matter if it's a holiday or a terrible snowstorm, if you're on the schedule, you better come to work.

I work for UPS...had to be at work by 5 am, got outta there by 9 though (which is shorter than a nomral work day)...still sucked to have to go in on a holiday
