i usually don't watch oprah but the show on right now is crazy!! i am assuming it is today's show and not a repeat...
apparently the book o.j. simpson wrote entitled 'if I DID IT' is being PUBLISHED...but guess who is publishing it?!?!
THE GOLDMAN FAMILY!!!!!!
why after brutally murdered their son/brother would they publish this book?! they are on the show right now explaining their reasons but it sounds like it's mostly for money.
oprah actually said she is in no way promoting the book, and she also stated she is only having them on the show b/c she had already promised them she would...but she made it clear she wished she wasn't doing this show!!
it's kind of crazy, anyone else watching??

i think there has to be more to the story than that i heard about this several months ago and oprah's new season starts next week so it was a repeat
the book was not released
additionally, the reason why they purchased the publishing rights is to NOT PUBLISH IT in other words, if they own the rights, they choose to or not to publish it
they did it just so that they would own the rights to the book, certainly NOT to make money off of their son's death

amanda i read you got the copy from a friend so i know you didnt buy it lol
lol, I would NEVER have bought it!!! It somehow got leaked on the internet..... I never really got the full story of how his friend got it.
And, I'm not sure it was even the final copy that I got, because like I said, there were a lot of errors in it. I wonder if someone just maybe took it, before it was finished, and posted it on the internet somewhere......
FH's friend that got it is in the field of entertainment law - so, that could have something to do with how he got the copy too.
And Laura is right, it was never actually published. It was pulled right before it became published, from what I can remember.

i do know what you mean...actually i am kind of curious to read it too for the same reason...but i don't think i'll actually do it...it's so twisted that a book like that could be published and actually i don't think i have the stomache to read it!
I'm glad you understand!! I was a little worried when I posted it that I'd be under attack. lol
There is a chance FH still has it in his e-mail, and, if not, I do have the hard copy, if anyone is really interested and wants to read it, without going out and buying it.

07'er jumping in... I heard on the morning news a few days ago that the Goldman family bought the rights and that they ARE now having it published - don't exactly remember the reasons why - something like that they want the world to know how OJ killed their son.
So from what I gathered, the book was pulled months ago, but will now be published and sold - it's coming out this week or some time soon.
