I have to add, that he's like this about everything. Decorating the house, doing construction on the house, all holidays.
We agreed no V day gifts so we could save and I wake up and my entire living room is full of vday stuff. ugh. I didn't buy him anything!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I think its cute - just gotta take it for what its worth. We can't have it all right?? And we always want what we can't have!! I am sure he may calm down (hopefully for you) but i guess it's just an exciting time.

OMG we say that all the time too! FH is way into it too. I come up with ideas that I like and he tells me they are stupid, or it will look bad, or he didn't like the way one photographer posed the couple in one picture, etc. Its pretty much his wedding at this point! But thats OK because I'm really not that into it. But make sure your opinion gets heard because its your day too!

OMG! and your not even getting married until 2012! i would tell him that your thankful for his suggestions and wait it out. the wedding is still so far away he might get tired of it shortly and stop with all of the ideas....

he's crazy!!! and yes he's straight...
so ya, i call him my little groomzilla all the time...hes been really busy with work so he's been laying of the planning with me, thank god!

YES! We got engaged on a weekend. That Monday morning, I open my emails at work and there's TWELVE emails from FH about random wedding related items. That night, people at dinner asked us what our wedding colors would be, (we had never discussed it) he blurted out 'BLACK!'. He also insisted on making his own wedding website from scratch rather than using a template. But I love that he's involved, even if its a little OCD.

It depends on his mood but for the most part he is very opinionated about who is being invited, what types of invites... but it is nice for the most part.... he even surprised me and designed our stds

MY FH has definite groomzilla qualities but I love that he wants everything to be perfect too. It's so much better than not carinf at all. I say enjoy it. It's nice to to really have to plan everything yourself.
