mine didnt, my MOH did though. I think it is ok if they are trying somebody new so they arent surprised the day of.

Nothing strange about that. I had one and so did my DIL's mom along with a make-up trial.
Remember it is our children's wedding and we want to look nice too.

In this day and age..not really. My mom has very short hair, but she'll still have her hair done.

my mom is not getting her hair done professionally at all ...no trial, nothing - i think THAT is strange and i wish she would get it done....

my mom went with me to mine and she had me make her an appt, but she has short hair the girl just talked to her and looked at the comb she got to put in it and told her no problem and no cost for a 'consultation', so we just tipped her
