we are thinking about honeymooning there b/c the airfare is SO affordable. Where did you stay?

Yes....gazillions of times...never stayed at a hotel b/c have fam there but if you do my boss just went to El Conquistador and said it was AMAZING...
Fun stuff to do there tho..

i stayed at a friends house, but went to the San Juan Hotel & Casino in Isla Verde (that's the town not an island, had to say bc before i went there i wasnt getting that, LMAO)... is very nice

oh crap! i forgot to mention this one too, it is fab and its in Fajardo-thats were the ferry boats and little planes leave to Isla de Culebra---some of the nicest beaches in the world are there (google flamenco beach), so great location if you're a beach bum like me

I've been there but it was so long I don't remember where we stayed. All I remember is it's BEAUTIFUL! A great time!

i JUST returned from PR 3 days ago - stayed at the el conquistador (for work) and there were 3 seperate weddings right outside my door!
it was beautiful, i have tons of pics ill post ASAP!
for me, it wasnt honeymoon material .. but it was amazingly beautiful - there just isnt too much to do around the resort (without driving an hour)
remind me to post the pics - or ill forget haha

dont forget to do the following activities: (the hotel can arrange everything for you) 1) kayaking in bioluminus bay 2) tour the rainforest 3) walk around old san juan 4) snorkeling

el conquistaor stayed there 2 times!

we stayed at the ritz carleton, it is so gorgeous. We normally don't stay at hotels that nice but we were there for a wedding.

I went there but it was a while back 2002. Im sure things have changed and new hotels have been built but we stayed at The Wyndahm in New San Juan (that is what it was called then). I loved the hotel it was beautiful.

We flew there so we can board our cruise to the Caribbean. We weren't impressed at all. Maybe the airport was in a crappy area, but it was humid as all hell when we got there and when we left from there, and there are 100's of HUGE iguanas running loose everywhere! I was scared lol

oh ive been there a whole bunch of times..actually thats where im going for my bachelorette party. i stay at the El san juan hotel and casino which i think someone else mentioned. i hear they just did some room renovations. its not all inclusive but its very nice and they have a few nice restaurants inside and the lobby area is awesome at night!! 2 big bars, nightclub, great pool area, on the beach. u should check it out!
