Anyone ever else feel like no one gives a hoot about your wedding? I'm not saying I expect the world to stop just because I'm getting married, (I'm not the type of person to think like that at all) but a little show of interest from people would be nice.
So far out of everyone involved there is only one person who is genuinely interested and excited about it everytime we talk and I never really get to see this person because of our schedules.
I don't know, maybe I'm crazy or I'm just having a pity party day (though this has been building up for awhile)
I'm just sick of feeling like no one cares.

I know how you are feel an you're not the only one - so not to worry. I felt the same way in the beginning. I picked my BM and MOH and thought they would help my do almost everything but it doesnt work that way. Evreyone is busy doing their own thing running their own life. I just do everything myself and if they ask then I tell them.
So you do the same to . I am sure you have FH to be excited about and who better person.

well i know you arent referring to me bc i burst into tears of joy every time you change your monogram or pick out a flower to use
i know exactly how you feel and it goes in cycles so just hold on and it will get better

My MOH is excited, but no one else cares! I could probably just never mention the wedding again and she wouldnt ask me about it EVER! Girls!

I know what you mean - and I feel like this about my MOH of all people!
My MOH is my brother's wife and I love her to death, I really do. But I feel like everytime something about the wedding comes up she's not that excited. I understand she has two small children and she's busy, but she can still be enthusiastic. Like the other day my cousin was over and she asked me if I was having a bachlorette party and I said yes so she asked what we were doing and I looked at my MOH and I said I don't know, you have to ask her, pointing to my MOH. She did not seem excited at all. It was like, yeah, I'll let you know. And that was it.
So I totally understand how you feel - feel better

i'm one of the last of my friends to get married, so i think people are 'over' the wedding planning. my FH is awesome and very supportive...even so, it would be nice for my friends to ask questions and genually care about the answers! this site really helps me on my sad days!

I kinda feel the same way. Most of my friends have gotten married in the last 2 or so yrs. So they've been there, done that. So those girls ask me how the plans are going and lend me an ear when I need it. The people who I'm closest w/ are in my family and in the wedding so they're involved in a lot. Like you girls are saying, everyone has their own life to deal w/. I think that's all it is. Esp. for us teachers, the beginning of school is around the corner, so much planning to do! Anyways, keep your heads up girls, it's your day!

I know exactly how you feel.. Unfortunately, my FMIL is the only one who will call & offer help..i won't get into it cos i posted all about it yesterday but i don't even hear from my own MOH/sister.. we communicate via email & is dragging her feet about buying her dress
don't worry your not alone... hopefully they will come around... at least thats what i am hoping

Yes, sometimes I feel like our wedding is more of a bother for alot of people to come to rather than an enjoyment. I try not to let it bother me.

The most important thing about your wedding is that you are marrying the man you love and that he loves you...
as hurtful as they are i ignore people's comments.. like my sister is always saying 'its too early for that' or ' i didn't do that when i got married. (sarcastic)'...
